The Beef Hulas and Pork Hulas came first and second respectively in the Natural Products Organic Award category at the Brighton Natural Products Show ‘98. Having unwittingly submitted both the Pork and Beef Hulas as separate items we believed we may have split our vote and damaged our chances of a win. However not only did we win the first and second position for the organic category we were told that if all four voting categories had been joined for a best of show, we would still have come first and second. Amazing for a show that until this year has never included meats.
The Zest For Life - AWARDS 1999
- WINNER "BEST HEALTHY FOOD RANGE"
"Zest readers are health conscious eaters, and, with so many healthy food ranges to chose from these days, we asked which ones they rated most highly. Products such as Linda McCartney Vegetarian Range, Heinz Weight Watchers meals, Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself, Marks & Spencers and Tesco's Healthy Eating ranges made it onto our shortlist. The judges eventually chose two winners... The joint winner of this award is an organic range. It uses no artificial colourings or preservatives, but, in the words of nutritionist Anita Bean "the use of natural flavourings, such as herbs and garlic and organic ingredients make these products truly delicious." - Eve Cameron Editor Zest magazine

What we achieved is really big news for the industry and for parents. All this has developed from the problems we had finding good food for our Autistic daughter and our realisation that there is nothing available for parents looking for good quality organic children’s food that is in a convenient format.
